DESERT SIN THEATRICAL DANCE

Desert Sin was forged in 1999 by a few badass gals in Los Angeles looking for a little edge and a lot of dark sparkle. Over twenty years later, on the other side of the continent, we are proud to continue making gorgeous magic for all.

With expertise in numerous disciplines of theatre and dance, Desert Sin couples visual spectacle with emotional movement to develop characters and stories that reflect the world in which we live. We expose passion under the surface of the mundane. We discover beauty in the outwardly grotesque. Our roots lie in Modern and Middle Eastern Dance, but from there we stretch and seek out collaborations with inspiring artists from wildly different backgrounds. 

Under Artistic Director, Djahari Clark, Desert Sin continues to use impassioned creativity to maintain itself as an inspirational theatrical dance company. 

Founded in Los Angeles in 1999, Desert Sin now resides in New York.
